The Irish Snap Indiana Out of This Fever Dream Season Indiana just lost by 10 to Notre Dame. Based on the score, it seems like it was relatively competitive is what you might be saying, but it wasn’t it was sad to watch. I think the one thing this game has done is just shown how much strength of schedule matters. The entire night Indiana defense could not make the tackle when they needed to, which allowed Notre Dame’s run Game to just dominate. I commend Notre Dame's D line, they mated to completely stop Indian's passing game. Kurtis Rourke was just prepared for the amount of pressure Notre Dame mated to apply. He was used to having time to throw the ball and being able to make the correct pass in the safety of the pocket. Indiana's O line just could not hold up at all, so his passes were off all game. Even when he had open wide receivers in one-on-one scenarios, which is where they had previously dominated, he just could not make the pass. Indiana is going to change things for the better now people will realize that if you go 11-1 against several small schools, it makes sense why Notre Dame beat them. Furthermore, we should have seen this coming when they got smoked by Ohio State, and they did not even look competitive.
