If This Man Doesn’t Win MVP…
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander feasts off of living in the shadows. He never gets caught up in fights, never argues with refs, and stays nonchalant even after icing the most clutch shots in the whole game. Shai has always suffered on low talent teams, so he never got the credit he always deserved. Now his team has the best record in the Western Conference, and it’s his time to shine in the league. Shai lives in Oklahoma, where there were 152 tornadoes this year. Shai has dealt with toes of diversity, and Shai never complains. Mike Diagnuelant, the head coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder, seemed to agree with the concept of Shai taking home a Kia MVP Trophy.
“I think his consistency, his poise, his confidence, has an unbelievable contagious effect.”
Shai is averaging 34.1 points per game in 34.4 minutes a game. This unbelievable talent deserves an MVP award on his resume.
